We are seeking speakers who can deliver insightful presentations at the Sugar Industry Innovation Symposium & Expo 2024 - Youth Edition, themed "Youth Opportunities in the Sugar Value Chain."
This symposium aims to empower young professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, and policymakers to drive innovation, sustainability and growth within the Kenyan sugar industry.
The thematic areas are:
- Youth Involvement in Revolutionizing Sugarcane Production
- Facilitating Market Access for Youth-Led Initiatives
- Youth Advocacy for Policy Reforms in the Sugar Industry
- Empowering Youth in Innovative Value Addition
- Harnessing Digital Solutions for Youth-Led Advancements
- Nurturing Financial Opportunities for Youth in Sugar Enterprises
- Driving Climate Smart Agriculture and Sustainable Farming Practices
If you are passionate about empowering youth, driving innovation, and advancing sustainability in the sugar value chain, we encourage you to submit your abstract for consideration as a speaker.
Submissions should align with the thematic areas listed above and address relevant challenges, opportunities, and solutions.
Submission Requirements:
- Abstract: Include a concise summary (250-300 words) of your understanding of the selected thematic area(s).
- Speaker(s) Bio: Provide a brief bio (100-150 words), highlighting relevant expertise and experience.
Submission Process: Please submit your abstracts and bios to info@sugarinnovation.org by May 20th 2024. Submissions will undergo a rigorous review process by the Symposium Committee, and accepted speakers will be notified by June 21st 2024.
